The crossing between two worlds was something I wanted to look at visually and see how different styles present it.

The coming together of different cultures when building a new world.

How it might look in a time era where we had to start life all over again, using oxenfree's art style

Brainstorming from books/articles

In the Introduction of this book, the author talks about their understanding of death and what we will experience. This author inspired a first generation of researchers dedicated to a scientific understanding of human consciousness and death and life is like after death.

Medical practitioners used to call a near death experience 'The Lazarus Syndrome' where people die and then come back to life, implying that it was a result of medical pathology, in other words a mental illness or had hallucinations from drugs or a lack of oxygen to the brain.

When the author took the time to actually listen to people who had heart attacks and then recovered from them, the patients were afraid to talk about them for the fear of being mocked by society because they doubted the logical sense of what had happened too them. This is when we had some collective reasons to believe that something spiritual happens to you.

In this article it talks about a system that china has made about social crediting people based on their behaviour to determine their trustworthiness. This has ultimately stopped social gatherings, people from buying airline and train tickets. Meanwhile those viewed kindly are rewarded with discounted energy bill and other perks.

This system tracks and rates individuals, it also encompasses business and government officials but the development of this system is still in the process. Although this is a more technological approach to what I'm doing as part of my idea, it has given some inspiration on how the entity can determine an individual and how it is managed.

This article talks about the Egyptians believe in life on earth is only a mere part of ones life span, meaning once the physical body dies, the soul went to live on as good a life as the time they were given in the physical body. This was a transition to another realm where if one was deemed worthy by the gods, they would live eternally in paradise known as the field of reeds which is basically a mirror image of the persons life on earth.

Historical movement

templo_de_debod_3.jpg

Seeing as my research into the Egyptians has had great influence on my idea I thought I'd look into some structures built by egyptians for architecture inspiration.

This is a rebuilt and relocated version of the temple of debod

Temple of Debod in Egypt before relocation to spain

This could be a recreation of what we know as the after life and the life we have just left (a mirrored image of our life before and life now).

In other words the life we've just left is corrupted polluted and over populated which has caused structural damage to things that were beautiful in life.

Reason for relocation

The aswan high dam was the worlds largest embankment built across the nile in aswan, egypt. Due to its threat posed by the reservoir to numerous monuments, the united nations educational, scientific and cultural organisation relocated this rich historical legacy to spain as gratitude for help provided by the spanish in saving various other temples.

Many other significant sites were relocated due to them being submerged by lake nasser following the construction of the aswan high dam.

Facts

Many different sources of evidence are assembled and provide reinforcing evidence which results in a comprehensive and believable picture of the afterlife.

  • The first topic would be reincarnation, the proof that people actually lead more than one life in sequence is rock solid, and establishes by itself the reality of survival of consciousnesses.

  • One tool used in studying past lives of individuals is hypnotic regression, this is where a person is hypnotized and is instructed to recall a past event or regress to an earlier age.

  • Psychic Phenomena has strong evidence to believe that people have paranormal capabilities that unexplainable through modern science.

  • Near death experiences, which is a common thing that a lot of people have talked about. It is the feeling of separation of the physical body and a variety of other spiritual phenomena which provides both evidence for and information about the afterlife
