Narrowing it down
The term supernatural means a force beyond our scientific understanding of the laws of nature. the most common beings referred to as supernatural are gods, angels and spirits and some entities have supernatural powers like telekinesis, magic, precognition and extrasensory perception (sixth sense).
Historically, supernatural powers have given inspiration to explain lightning, seasons and human senses which today are understood scientifically. The philosophy of naturalism are phenomena's that have occured in the natural world and have been scientifically understood to explain that nothing exists beyond the natural world to avoid confusion but some people are skeptical about this.
The supernatural is featured in religious contexts and many have had superstitions or beliefs in the paranormal in more secular contexts which is something not to do with religious or spiritual matters.
The considerations of the existence of the supernatural can be difficult to approach because anything natural in our understanding of philosophy will ultimately have to be inverted or rejected, which is why my main goal for this idea was to take inspiration from a game like FEAR with some brief story aspects that talk about a connection to another realm to describe got here.
I want to look into more games and stories about supernatural entities and also take inspiration from their narratives.
Inspiration

This is a stereotypical paranormal activity game where you work cooperatively with 4 other players to use all the ghost hunting equipment at your disposal to gather as much evidence as you can.
This could be a good inspiration as collecting evidence to prove the existence of the supernatural could be a building point for my narrative.

This game is about a group of friends who stumble across a ghost rift and things start to go horribly wrong. Although i'm not too fond of the art style, the idea of this game takes the players to somewhere which has not been discovered, something I want to include in my narrative.
